Kids Activites-Flowers!
I saw this in a magazine and its the cutest thing! Don’t buy a flower bouquet- make one! Out of toilet paper rolls! Ok, maybe that doesn’t sound cute, but the end result is!
1. Draw a circle 2 inches from each end of the tp roll. Draw lines about 1/2 inch apart from the end of each roll to the circle. Now cut along each line and fold back.
2. Paint your new flower and have fun! This is a great time to tell your kids about recycling and reusing.
3. While the paint on your flower is drying, paint a skewer stick green and cut out some leaves from the green paper.
4. After its all dry, poke a hole in the middle of your “flower” for the stem, tape or glue on the leaves, and fill the middle of the flower with tissue paper.
5. Find a little vase or cup and there you go! Look how cute!!
